IABS, the Irish Association of Barbershop Singers, is in Waterford for the 24th Annual Barbershop Convention, October 4-6 2013. If you haven’t guessed from the title the Red Rosettes are going this year! All very exciting and a little daunting. We’ve been busy fundraising, doing bucket collections, cake sales and bucket collections at public events. Now to perfect the singing!

We have a series of coaches lined up to help us get ready and sound at our best, which is always enjoyable and makes us sound even better for our public events too. Not forgetting our amazing music team that put in lots of time all year round to keep us sounding great.

The final challenge will be to fit in all the outfits, shoes, accessories and makeup in our luggage allowance. But we wouldn’t live without it.
