Many people might be thinking "I thought all barbershop was sung by quartets?"
As Barbershop is four part harmony, it has to be sung by a minimum of four people, but there is no upper limit on the number of singers.
Barbershop certainly had its beginnings rooted in quartet singing, but this naturally evolved into larger groups (chorus) singing in four parts. Each has a different role to play in the field of entertainment and each requires a slightly different singing technique, although the Barbershop disciplines remain unchanged. More about barbershop
Singing in a quartet is the Barbershop equivalent of living on the edge. Here you will discover exactly how four part harmony works, it's like discovering Barbershop all over again. You will develop your own skills and your ability to complement the skills of others. You will experience the sheer delight of singing well, the excitement of competition, the joys of friendship.

Generation Gap

Emma, Jo, Theresa and Katy
Generation Gap are an experienced quartet and have performed for small groups in the Preston area, they are also accomplished competition entrants.
Scarlet Fever

Linda, Vicky, Suzanne and Sandra
Scarlet Fever Quartet were formed after the 2007 convention in Bournemouth and are busy putting together their portfolio of songs with fun and local entertainment in mind.
Cantable

Christine, Susan, Marcia and Christine
Cantable Quartet are also newly formed and are very enthusiastic about learning new songs to perform for the group.
