In October 2025, we attended the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers (LABBS) convention.

After a long history as a chorus and a member of our association, we were absolutely thrilled to win a Silver medal (our first medal at LABBS) with a score of 82.5%. We were also delighted to win the BABS trophy for Most Entertaining chorus. We do what we do to bring joy to our audiences, and it was wonderful to have this recognition.

Bringing more than 60 members together, with an age diversity spanning around 70 years is no easy task! So much work goes on behind the scenes from an array of dedicated members who make achievements like this possible. Silver medals don't just fall out of the sky; there has been a significant dedication from our chorus family to make this happen. There's so many people who are instrumental to this, but a special shout out to our leadership team: Emma (MD), Teresa (Chorus Manager), Helen (Chair), Stacy (Dress Team Leader), Music Team section leaders: Kim, Laura, Teresa and Helen who have been key drivers in making this happen.

We were also so proud of one of our young members, Emily, who won the Katy Phillips Young Barbershopper of the Year award. This is a special award to us and so it is wonderful that Emmy is now recognised for her valuable contributions to the barbershop community.

We would like to say a huge thank you to some truly magnificent coaches and experts who have visited us over the last year or so. We are so grateful for their time, energy and expertise they have offered so generously. A massive thank you to Aaron Dale, Sean Devine, Hannah Barber, David Sangster and Sally McLean.

And finally, we would like to thank all our wonderful family, friends and loyal supporters. We couldn't do what we do without your love and support. You keep us motivated and driven to do better and better. Thank you.

Thank you all, from a very happy and humbled bouquet of Red Rosettes ???
