Huge congratulations to this year’s award winners, announced at our AGM this week! What a way to celebrate an incredible year for our chorus.

Chairman’s Award
Awarded by Chair Helen Jones, this went to our brilliant Musical Director Emma McManus in recognition of her unwavering support this year – and yes, those medals didn’t win themselves!

The Katy Phillips Musical Director Award
A massive well done to Sophie Laurence, recognised for how much she’s developed over the year. Taking on a part change and absolutely rising to the challenge. 

Pam Ambrose Barbershopper of the Year Award
Voted for by the chorus (ots of them!), this year’s award went to Stacy Bridge for her endless support – from costumes to warm-ups and all the countless behind-the-scenes things that keep us going. Chorus glue at its finest.

We also loved celebrating the many long service awards presented this year, for both chorus and LABBS. A special shout-out to Pam Ambrose, who clocked up an incredible 45 years of barbershopping commitment. Honestly… goals. ?
