“Singing for Seniors” crowdfund campaign
We are on a mission to bring our high-level singing and performance to Lancashire residents and communities. We are launching our "Singing for Seniors" campaign which offers community members a chance to nominate a Lancashire-based care or residential home as a beneficiary of our performance set.
Nominations can be made via donating to our crowdfund campaign. All nominations are then entered into a monthly draw to select the lucky beneficiary. For any donations over £250, the named beneficiary will be guaranteed a performance set, without the need to be entered in a random draw.
We were founded in Preston over 45 years ago, and we now comprise over 60 women with a vibrant age range of 70 years. We excel in four-part harmony without accompaniment, making it perfect for intimate spaces such as care or residential homes.
With accolades such as Lancashire Choir of the Year 2024 and top placements in major competitions, our performances continually bring top-tier quality and warmth to audiences.
Through our “Singing for Seniors” campaign, we hope to brighten the lives of care home residents and their families, fostering inter-generational bonds and fond memories. If you wish to nominate a Lancashire-based care or residential home as a beneficiary, you can do so here via our donations page: https://www.spacehive.com/singing-for-seniors (Make sure to include the care or residential home name and town/city in your donation comment).
